IGO
Igor Walaszek – known under the stage name Igo – is one of the most recognizable male voices in Poland. Despite his rock inclinations, he does not confine himself to this genre alone. He gained wider recognition as one half of the electronic duo Bass Astral x Igo, which sold nearly 50,000 tickets during their final tour. With his various projects, he has recorded seven albums, with the most recent being Satellite, released in August 2021.
In 2019, Igor became a member of the Męskie Granie Orchestra alongside Katarzyna Nosowska, Krzysztof Zalewski, and Organek. He joined the lineup again in 2020, this time performing with Daria Zawiałow and Błażej Król. Over the years, he has appeared at major festivals such as Open’er Festival, Krakow Live Festival, Przystanek Woodstock, OFF Festival, and Audioriver.
Igo has also collaborated with prominent artists like Sokół, Miuosh, Natalia Szroeder, and Sistars. His first solo album is set to premiere on November 18, 2022, preceded by singles like Helena, Brudas, To też o Tobie (This is Also About You), and Better Be Alive.
